Weaving & Process
Spooling: Tibetan rugs are woven as 3 ply. Meaning you can weave 3 different colors together for added affect to your area rug. Refer to autumn for example. This sample has three different shades of red for the field and 2 different shades for the leaf design.
A family affair on our largest loom (40' x 60'). Tibetan area rugs are woven across on the width.
